This actually reminds me of an episode of SVU.
A girl had gone to a clinic who claimed to be an abortion provider. They told her that she had a fever and they couldn't perform the procedure and then kept saying they couldn't schedule her appointment until it was too late. She ended up having her boyfriend beat her so the baby would die.
And...like most SVU episodes...I'm sure it stemmed from a true life story. Effing disgusting. Anti-choice people make me sick.
