It is lunch time and I am bored. I did not go out to get food as I am trying to me more conscious of what I spend. I have been eating out too often as of late. Now that I have a car payment, I need to be careful on what I spend. Luckily once I move here in a few weeks that will be some extra money

This is the first time I've seen you post!

I friended you because we have the same last name. I'm Robert. I know, very random and all, but it's an odd last name so I was surprised to run across another Youngman.

Come to think of it if you're from the Kansas/Missouri area we might be related somehow. I'm from Arkansas.

Yes it is odd to come across another Youngman. :) My grandparents lived in Branson, Missouri for about 20 years, right close to the border of Arkansas. I spent almost every summer there. I actually know very little about this side of my family. I know Henny Youngman was a distant relative. My father is an only child and grew up in Minneapolis, and my grandfather is from one of the Dakotas. This about all I know other than my grandfather's parents came here from Germany. My mother's side is from Trenton, Missouri, just north of Kansas City, also where I was born. They are the Powell/Bane family.

I would bet if we put our heads together we ARE related somehow, because I know I'm distantly related to Henny Youngman as well, and I have some relatives from Germany--their surname was Heckler, and we have a steamer trunk that come over from Frankfurt. But I'd have to dive into genealogy stuff to say for sure. However, my Dad collected a LOT of that stuff--our family can trace the Youngman lineage back to 1767 Virginia.

Next time I'm home I'm gonna dig out that family tree.
