I know we discussed this, but I want to reiterate that I really loved that scene with Ann and Leslie trying out outfits for Leslie's campaign, and Ann's reaction when she finally sees Leslie in her perfect outfit. I compared it to seeing my friend who is getting married next year in her wedding dress, and I know you have been on the other side of that dress experience. There is something wonderful about knowing your friends are going to do great things, but an agony in realizing that that means it may no longer include you. Shifting friendship can be painful and awful, and then you just feel terrible because look at this great thing my friend is about to do, how selfish can I be? And this just captures that in a way I think I haven't seen too much of.

Another excellent update on this! Ann's realization that she's losing *her* Leslie, Ben's awareness of Ann's situation and preoccupations, their mutual understanding of each other... this friendship is golden.

I particularly love that Ann told Leslie about it, and how both of them survived the fallout.
