30 days of writing - Day Six
Where are you most comfortable writing? At what time of day? Computer or good ol' pen and paper?
You know it's funny, I got a laptop so I could write anywhere (that has a power outlet) and still the place I am most comfortable writing is at my own damn desk. I tried the sofa and while I can chat and game and surf well enough there I can't for the life of me write properly. Very annoying as the sofa is much more comfortable to sit in :D
As for time of day I do my most focused writing at night, after midnight preferably, but I've also managed it at other times. Second best is at work actually (there is something a bit thrilling about writing explicit sex scenes with one's co-workers around) since I have quite a bit of waiting time built into the job.
I am so incredibly much faster writing on a keyboard as opposed to with a pen so I definitely prefer the computer. Writing by hand is good if I don't want anyone else to understand though as my handwriting is... fast. Yes, let's stay with fast, that sounds good :)
