My reaction exactly. But in Psychology, you cannot assume anything! So you must test everything! And you can never prove causation, only suggest significant correlational relevancy!

This is going to be the rest of my life.

Haha it's okay, sometimes biology has stupid statements too. xD; Or contraditory statements where one paper is all "SOY IS GOOD FOR YOU!" and one paper is like "SOY WILL KILL YOU BEFORE YOU ARE 50!" =_=

I am suddenly reminded of something my older sister recently said to me: "I only majored in English as an excuse to read books. ...8D"

But I'm not saying you're only majoring in EAS as an excuse to fulfill any and all of your questionable pursuits.
