Yawn .. grumble

I'm sitting here watching the water rise in my yard and laughing at the objects skirting across the water. I have about 3 feet or so of water right now from heavy thunderstorms which are pounding the area and have been since around 10 p.m. I woke up around 1 a.m. and took a peek out of the window. There isn't anything anyone can do right now but sit on the porch, drink a few beers, have a few laughs and watch the kids paddle around in boats. But we are dry inside and hoping the expected rainfall tonight isn't as bad as last night. If it is, I'll be swimming to safety or sitting on my roof awaiting a rescue unit!
