think i scored a 136. anyway, not too sure about dnd MMORPG. there are SO MANY alternative books out right now (core rules, psionics, complete warrior, arcane, divine, adventure, races of stone, eberron, etc.) that i would like to see and it looks like theyre just using the core books with a small amount of races *cry* (gnomes? half races? level adjustment races? alternative races like wild elf and high elf?). the beta is out, but i dont really want to play; the game looks like a basic version and its not going to have what i want in it.
Well, for one, this world IS Ebberron. They are also going to add more races/classes in the future. The "basic" game has elements from some of the non-core books, like feats and whatnot.
This game takes into account blocking and dodging as part of combat, and you don't have to have 40 people to complete high end content. Six is max party, and all you need. You also can complete a dungeon without fighting everything in your path. Personally, it's part of the reason I left WoW. Granted the expansion that is coming looks mildly interesting, but it will be the same old grind after a month or so.
Now, I agree, I would like to see more races, and I really want to see a height/weight option for character creation. I also want to see monk and druid classes. They have said they will be introducing prestige classes later on for sure, so we'll have to wait and see.
Just so ya know, Borg, Darc, Koofo, Pal, Jalas, Asa, Chance, and I are probably all going to DDO. Maybe others too.
