I realize my last post might have made it sound like I'm anti-religion. I'm not. People believe different things, and as long as they respect that other people have different views (and are not necessarily "stupid idiots"), that is just fine. I sorta participated, I kept the lights on in the room I was in. On the other hand Thursday night i had my own forced 2 hours of no power, where I crafted by candlelight.

Totally forgot about that. But we've often said we'd have "power outage nights" but haven't actually done it. Sounds like yours was fun!

Your Earth hour sounds like a lot of fun. You should totally keep it up!

I, for one, was not offended by you previous post. It is incredibly frustrating for me to see people who are Christians seemingly only because it is easy, convenient, the status quo. However, I do have to be mindful of the inherent hypocrisy in all of us humans. It is frustrating for me for people to expect me to be a certain way because I'm a seminary student. While my faith should and does change the way I act, it is a journey, and I'm no better (or worse) than anyone else. You know? I know you do. I just felt like I had to say it.
