I’ve got a rough draft for an essay due tomorrow. I haven’t done it yet and I really don’t want to. I like to write, but I hate HAVING to write. The essay topic is pretty simple. I did a search for kidney disease and came across your journal... I am having a transplant soon, either next month or the month after (my mother is donating, we're a 4 for 6 match). I lost my kidneys to lupus last March. I'm 24 now and just finished my bachelor's degree.
Any words of advice for me, in terms of what to expect from the transplant, etc.?
