Is a palmful really different from a handful?

Yes, a palmful is less generous. It's the finger issue. It's like with nuts: A palmsful is where you pour nuts into your hand up to the point of overflowing (say 10 shelled peanuts?), and a handsful is when you are reaching into a bowl and grabbing as many as you possibly can (25? 30?). I feel like I should have peanuts immediately available so that I could test my estimates scientifically.

It's expected that some measurement adjusting would need to take place for each new person trying this recipe. You have bigger hands than I do and can fit more chocolate in them... lucky! Others might not like very chocolately hot chocolate... strange people that they would be.
