Ok,here are few more pics from my vacation:
Ruins of a castle called Bolkow (near town of Bolkow) unfortunately there are many ruins in Poland of castles and palaces that used to be around everywhere, due to World War II many of them were bombarded or destroyed after since most of them were occupied by German or Russian troops...sad, but I still love to see them, its fascinating to me, to imagine what it looked like before, to see such old stones...this one is from the 13th century...
This palace is called Ksiaz - again end of 13th century. This castle has many different styles ranging from renessaince, baroque and others, changed over many times,beautiful british type gardens, and many wonderful details still intack, the following pics are from the same place...

This is Kris' favourite picture, its in the town's square in Wroclaw, its really small made out of marble (i think)the creature or troll or whatever you want to call it, I wanted to share this one as well.
