Apparently Materazzi said something racist, although he has denied it.

Zidane himself denied Materazzi made any racist comment. He says Materazzi insulted his mother or something, which is absurd b/c Materazzi lost his mother when he was 15 and is rather sensitive on that subject. I am kinda baffled that Zidane won the Golden Ball award after that.

But I have to say that was the funniest thing I've seen in a soccer game.
