I am not smart god-d@mnit!!!

I work waaay too hard at not being stupid. This does not mean I'm 'smart'. I'm not. I realize it's a silly thing to b*tch about but I wish people would stop talking about how smart I (supposedly) am. It makes me extremely uncomfortable. If I were so d@mn smart I wouldn't make so many dumb mistakes.

I'm fond of saying "I'm not smart or brilliant..just determined." Chica, I completely understand...Seriously.

Exactly, my determination is completely out-of-proportion to my actual abilities. This would actually be yet another indication of my non-smartness - a smart person would know when to give up. ;-)

It's all that luck which really sees you through.

So glad you don't have to work for your accomplishments. Wouldn't that suck?

That would totally suck! Fortunately I'm 'blessed' and things just come easily to me, and that way other people don't have to feel bad about themselves for not putting in even a meager amount of effort. I mean - seriously? discipline? work? study? trial-and-error? Bwaaahaaha! Suckers!

It bothers me immensely when my so-called intelligence becomes as excuse for others to not even try. ie: "I couldn't do what you do, so why even try" Ingenuity in the name of laziness is an art. Laziness without ingenuity is pathetic.

If only I'd been born a monkey - I'd be both brilliant and charming. In fact so much so that I could get away with throwing my feces at people and then laughing uproariously. I could run around like a crazy 3-year old in a PB league, take a couple minutes to do a very complicated task that totally astounds everyone and then go back to chattering maniacally while swinging from the bars on the ceiling.
