Merlin-(White Rabbit)
Hey just a little Merlin Fan-vid I threw together! I have an explanation of the scenes below the vid if any one is interested.

1)Intro riff: it had a sense of movement that I want to convey hence travelling Merlin
2) one pill make you larger and one pill make you small just a random Gaius medication scene i liked the emphatic gestures in this so I used it :P
3) but the ones that mother gives you don't do anything at all this was rather obvious Hunith being Merlin's mother and Arthur rejecting the food as if it's useless.
4) go ask alice! it might seem funny that I’ve cast Merlin as Alice but I think it works, in a way he has been cast down the rabbit hole into a strange new world with new rules he can't understand and is trying desperately to get through with his head attached to his neck
5) when she's ten feet tall I chose this sequence because if you look closely it almost seems like the great dragon is bowing to Merlin/"alice"
6) and if you go chasing rabbits ok yes I know giant siders of death are not rabbits but i thought it looked cute :P
7) and you know your going to fall Arthur dangling from a ledge how could I Not use this?
8) tell'em a hookah smoking caterpillar has given you the call Now in part I chose it to match the words but to be honest mostly I chose it because the caterpillar was wise but confusing and enigmatic just like our good friend the great dragon
9) go ask alice! when she was just small Merlin/"alice" knocked on his ass looking up , and his first day as the prince's servant and training dummy? i think that counts as small on many levels :P
10) when men on the chess board Arthur is a knight (as well as a prince) and a knight is a chess piece, I also felt it showed the strings of fate moving them like living game pieces
11) get up and tell you where to go Arthur again as the "knight" recurring theme in this vid, is well moving
12 and you've just had some kind of mushroom Merlin/"alice" picking mushrooms I just couldn't resist meh maybe I’ll do a fic one day with Merlin or Arthur eating some bad mushrooms or should i say "good" lol
13) and you mind is moving low I figured it fit trust me people hallucinating look a bit wonky as the world looks wonky to them.
14) go ask alice! think she'll know two reason's I picked this 1) it looked like the "knight" is talking to "alice", 2) I think they look adorable in this =^_^=
15) when logic and proportion, Have fallen sloppy dead My least favourite scene in terms of cutting, but I was trying to show the conflict between what Merlin/"alice" knew should be happening and should be done and what he feared/believed would/could happen ...
16) and the White Knight is talking backwards Arthur again as a knight the white knight to be exact, and while he isn't "talking backwards" I felt the turning evil, betraying Merlin/"alice" counted at messed up behaviour
17) and the Red Queen's "off with her head!" Ironically when I first put this together in my mind I thought the line was "and the red queen's off her head" and grabbed the clip based on that, But it could also be seen as Uther gleefully signing someone’s death warrant. The reasons I chose Uther as the red queen are to me obvious, 1) royalty, 2) penchant for red,3)insane/fixated on one thing,4)bad temper
18) remember what the dormouse said why cast Gaius as the doormouse? well aside from the obvious offering advise to Merlin/"alice", I also found it fitting as the doormouse was distinctly out of reality but trapped in it Similar to the position Gaius often find himself in as a distant observer.
19) feed your head ... feed your head perhaps my favourite scene, Merlin/"alice" feeding his head so to speak while watching the "white knight" , the look of determination, and the part at the end where the goblet rolls away from the dead/stoned? Merlin/"alice" lovely :P
