His fingernails were broken, blood dried under them from where the nail beds had broken while he scratched and clawed. Spencer looked at them, feeling oddly disconnected, some part of his mind knew this was a defense mechanism, the mind defending itself from the terror of the situation. His eyes traced down from his fingernails, down the fingers to the thumb which was red and angry a reminder of what he had done to himself in desperation to get his hands free. It had worked - he had gotten out of the old metal cuffs and had started to dig and scratch and pull, getting fingers under the seams of the make-shift prison. He had seen the woods outside the box, but the noises had been too much, or perhaps he had not been fast enough; and then he had been taken inside... It was worse inside where the unsub...Franklin Aivs his mind absently informed him; lived. He was inside now as he watched his hands connected to the bed's hard points by the new harder to escape metal reinforced leather cuffs. No loose gaps - the unsub learning from this mistake - that Spencer would do anything to escape.
From above Spencer heard the unsub grunt one last time before ejaculating into the body under him.
"Good boy"
The unsub petted his hair like a favoured dog, which Spencer supposed in the man's mind he was. He was glad, and not for the first time since his capture, that the profile of this man and his own quick thinking had helped him stay more or less intact. He was also thankful that he had been involved in an on again, off again relationship with Hotch since the man's divorce. if he hadn't lost his virginity to Hotch those months ago, if he wasn't still with the man now Spencer wasn't sure his body could have taken the frequent sexual assaults with out more damage, let alone what it would have done to his mind for this man to be his first and only sexual experience. Aside from his escape attempt when he had arrived 3 days ago - and the punishment from that - his body had none of the horrible mutilations the other men endured before they died. Spencer could only hope it remained that way, that he could stay whole until they could find him. Spencer knew his team would find him, he just had to hold on, to fight his instincts, to fight this man. He knew if he did that he had a chance to survive, after all this unsub kept his victims alive for a full month.
