Ok, so the print of HERO that was supposed to be in Tally at 8am yesterday morning did not come in. My boss called ETS and they said it would arrive by 8 pm.

This is the news I get at 6:30 pm when i get to work last night. ( read more about this totally retarded turn of events )

So, what's the deal with Hero? Is it just a re-touched-up-made-to-look-nice theater release of the same movie we've had for a while here, or is it re-done? I saw a trailer for it when we went to go see I, Robot, and it looked the same, just bigger. Is it subtitled or dubbed?

I'm sure all these questions could easily be answered if I took the effort to go look on the internet, but I'm lazy. (c:

It has english subtitles. I don't know if its the same as an old movie or not. I had never seen it before. I looked it up and it looks like the Chinese release was in 2002 called Ying Xiong. So if that is the one you have seeen before then obviously the Chinese DVD/video did release here then way before it had a theatrical release. That would be the same as what IRON MONKEY did. Tarintino was also behind the American theatrical release of that movie just as he is with HERO so it would not surprise me. I don't know if they touched it up any for the american release. There are some modern special effects CGI in it but that would have been available in 2002 also. I hadn't seen it before so couldn't say if that was new or not. I think they used the CGI well though. Inormally hatte CGI in films.
