I was talking to a friend last night and we got into the discussion of the war we about to go into..World War III. This isnt going to be like the other World Wars whereas we were helping other countries, this time the attack **IS** at us. September 11th is just a taste of what we are in for. Freedom as we know it is going to be something of the ( Read more... )

yeah its a scary idea...I;m sure a lot of people will die...as with any war...but I would suggest that you do not underestimate the U.S military..Some of the things they have you woulnd't believe...I would say that they are 15 years ahead of what we know they have....and I k now that they are about to test the first anti missle lasers very shortly which can blow any supersonic missle straight out of the sky. This is the first laser to be used as an attack weapon...So I am personally not to worry about all this...and I also feel that it is neccesary...Ignoring the problem will not make it go away. But I do thikn that Bush is going about it all wrong..he needs the backing of the U.N. before he goes any further..the U.S does not need to piss off the U.N. we can do it without them but would we want to? well those are opinions.

Ya, I'm not really worrying about it...It's just scary if you think about it. I know we can't ignore it either and I agree we *shouldn't* ignore it, a war has to be started to retaliate against terrorism once and for all....Are you frightened of being drafted at all?

You can't fight a war against an abstraction, you can't fight against the word terrorism ! Terrorism = middle east ! If terrorism was the aim then America would have nullified the IRA instead of funding them !

I have complete faith over here in england that it will be resolved without the panic that's being drummed up by the media . Alot i'm sure is designed with the purpose of putting fear into the hearts of the nation in order to justify and build support for such a war . I am not saying that there isn't cause to be concerned but propaganda plays a huge part in gaining agreement of any direct action ( ... )

They havent really made it out to be much here, Bush hasnt even announced anything however some of my friends and friends of friends have gotten phone calls and shipped out already. I think what Bush is doing is getting our troops in order and sending them off THEN he will announce we are at war.

Who has compared Sadam to Hitler?....lol...

You are in the UK?...I heard some airports were shut down there yesterday due to terrorist threats?....Any truth to that?

yeah ! absolutely they've called in the military and it's closed all weekend ! you see we get an entirely different story ! hitler obviously because we kind of lived next door to him ! Silly people for writing that one .
Crazy thing is though is that britian has over 1000 know terrorist of muslim extraction living here on benifit as previous governments did deals and shit and allowed them in ! one guy gets almost $1000 a week has a mosque in london and is allowed to say what the hell he likes ! All publicized to !
incites his hatred of us and lives on the fucking social ? mmmmmmm let me see......One word...hypocrite . I tell ya if you stopped his dole money and cut the gas off he'd soon complain then . Good thing is we just laugh at him ha ha ha , sorry thats what we can be like as brits .
I do think that if the Queen (god bless her) took more say in matters and took a leaf out of Victorias book , they wouldn't be so hasty . Cocky little upstarts that they are !

North America aren't the targets... North America are painting targets... and by painting targets North America are becoming a target !

Earlier today I was thinking about Gandhi, and thought about hunger striking if things start up, which it seems they inevitably will. But I don't think anyone would really care about my hunger strike, and the end result would just be me starving to death, which wouldn't achieve much. It wasn't a great idea.
This time the attack is at us should be this time the attack is by us, because Saddam hasn't actually done any attacking on you yet.

I thought that was all Osama. Although, not even Osama was ever proven guilty, aside from suspicously obvious video tapes.

I have had a few thoughts on this carpathianangel February 14 2003, 08:49:44 UTC
solutions...
1.Everyone could arrange to time the nukes so we can all wipe one another out and then the worst thing that ever walked the earth (Mankind) would be destroyed there would be total peace...
2.A much better solution would be for all the goverment leaders across the globe to pipe down, retire and hand over their titles to peacekeepers...now that would rock...i hate warmongers
