This is excellent news. I was very fortunate to see it flying over the summer - it was one of the attractions at the air display put on by Marshall Aerospace in honour of their 100th anniversary (a full-on air display held by a *private company* - it had the Red Arrows and everything!). The Vulcan was the highlight for me - it powered majestically through the sky, with no-one in Cambridge being unaware of its presence, and the way it looked as it banked around for another pass over the airfield it made me think of a dragon turning and preparing to make another run. It was lovely.
This is great news. My dad worked on these aircraft during his time in the RAF and I clearly remember watching them take off from somewhere windy that I suspect was probably Scampton.
