w00t! Finally out of tech support over the phone. Working as IT admin/support at Visual Jazz. Been there for two weeks now and its been quite fun and one hell of a train your brain sort of thing. Accuracy can be outstanding, but will depend on your printing setup. My cheap inkjet printer has an unmeasurable error vertically, but is too big by 0.2% horizontally (that is still less than half a millimeter over 200 millimeters). So I get great vertical rules

This person built a very handy flashlight out of an old TicTac mint box. It consists of an empty TicTac box (duh!), three batteries (that fits perfect), a small switch, a resistor and a bright LED.

If you're anything like me with a ghetto box and running Firefox sometimes (usually with IE) this little tweak will help FF from holding too much of your precious ram. Of course if you got hordes of ram I wouldn't bother but you might want the ram saved for other sutff too? Now all this tweak does is take the memory FF uses for its windows already ( Read more... )

New job. New location. New people. Ahchange for the better so far anyway. Working at another well known ISPdoing tech. Located in the CBD. I've most of Ubuntu working on theLaptop but the new patches to the kernal or sound drivers fkn broke it.Haven't really had time to look into it but I'm sure theres a fix assound has worked in the past.
