Yes, the University of Iowa is academically perfect for me and my wallet. However, I've been researching different schools lately for next year but I seem to not find ONE good match. Of course NYU and UCLA would be perfect, but I can't afford them nor could I get into them. So I need to decide, very soon, what I'm going to do. If I stay at IOWA

im going through the exact same thing right now with not knowing where i want to be. it fricken sucks.

but it's hard to find an answer to your question about schools. there really is no getting over the money situation. there are no other public schools in iowa where you can study film, and all other public schools out of state where you could study film you'd have to pay out of state tuition, which is almost like paying for private schools anyway. if money wasn't an issue i'd say the university of chicago, or columbia college.

Yeah the only school I can think of where you can study film is SCAD, but that's in Savannah, GA. But all the people I know back home (NC) who ended up going there said they hated it. Course most of them were girls and they probably hate it because 70% of the guys who go there are gay and as a result they can't get free booze and drugs like they could in high school.
Course then again it is an art school, so I suppose this comment was pretty pointless.
