awards night and book
awards night last night. fun fun. went with sister, since she won something too.
finished a book called "the truth about forever" by sarah dessen.
overall, the book wasn't that great. writing style was ok. plot seemed slow in a lot of places and a lot of the characters weren't that well portrayed. however, i really liked the idea behind the story, and the title is kick-ass. if the same idea/story was written in a different style, perhaps by a different author, i would have really liked it. not that i don't like sarah dessen. i did like one of her other novels, "this lullaby".
