i've just been invited to join vox, a blogging service owned by six apart, the same company that owns livejournal. it seems pretty cool and has a lot of features. does anyone else want to try it? i have 5 invitations right now. actually, vox isn't very appealing at the moment because there aren't that many people on it...but who knows

i know what you mean. you can have family and friends and a neighbourhood, but i don't think they have communities. but i'm hoping they'll have all the stuff lj has by the end.

i got the name from reading amelia atwater-rhodes' books. she wrote a whole bunch of teen novels about vampires, shape-shifters, etc (sci-fi). she makes up the coolest names, like risika, kaleo, jazlyn, kalika, triste... i just sorta combined all of them together. now that i think about it, it's usually the vampires that have the cool names...i guess she's a little biased.
