S. and I watched the tail end of Legally Blonde. Fun.
For the second night in a row, at about the same time, the Cat and I heard what must be a rather large and fast bird in the wooded area behind the house. I can't see it, but the loud squawks come from points that imply its speed, and the volume... what can I say? It's loud. A crane? In any case, the sound sorta freaks the Cat, and it takes a lot to unnerve him.
