When people apply for Digipen one of the questions should be "What is the most important part of a video game?" and if the answer given is not "gameplay" they should be fucking DENIED.

Yeah, gameplay is the most important, but not the only thing. You could make a game that looks like ass but plays great, but if the looked great and played great it would still be better. I think alot of people have jumped into this fad of "Who cares at all about graphics, just gimme good gameplay" when really they should be demanding both, but have a higher priority for gameplay.

what's ironic is that this post is in relation to a bunch of stupid freshmen I heard saying that "it's more important that a game has a good ending than be fun to play," and in fact had nothing to do with my discussion with yare.
