Sorry, I don't get it. He's hot? I had to investigate, given the overwhelming drooling that seems to be prevalent all over LJ as users review Batman Begins, which seemed like it would be stupid to me from the get-go given the cheesy previews (aren't they done yet beating this superhero run of films to death?) but I guess is making a pretty decent

I'm not qualified to comment on the hotness of Christian Bale (or Jude Law), but I will say it was a good movie. Similar to how I hate Star Wars but gave Revenge of the Sith an "okay" review, I typically dislike Batman but would give this one a "good" review. I think it says something when someone who generally dislikes a property likes a specific incarnation of it.
But hey, I tend to like superhero movies. I did manage to avoid The Hulk, and Electra...but I'm one of the six people on the planet who liked Daredevil. I'm even looking forward to the upcoming Fantastic Four movie, even though it definitely looks cheesy.

:) haven't seen RotS yet but want to - generally I like fantasy/sci-fi/action/whatever-other-category-you-want-to-put-them-in movies, but after the third batman, I was done. I much preferred the batman cartoons a few years back. I think part of my unenthusiasm for this one comes from the "oh my god christian bale is so hot!" and "katie holmes katie holmes katie holmes" saturation, i get turned off before i can give it a fair shot.

The Hulk looked bad to me from the get-go --- and ERIC BANA is the one I was thinking of that Christian Bale reminds me of!!! So thank you for that. Unfortunately I suffered through that movie one time on the plane with Scott.

I did like Judge Dredd though, so who am I to say :)
