I'm going to play Mahler 9 in March! woo hoo! Though half of that month will be eaten up by rehearsals, the feeling of being on stage live performing again will make it all worth it. wow do i have to get practicing, i think they're going to put me on 1st, and i haven't played since the Mahler 5 concert back in April '04 ( Read more... )

Awww, Robbie :o) So back in '98, I'm sitting in a dorm common room in Belfast and the Northern Ireland accent is kinda rough on its own and people are talking about stuff I know nothing about and I'm almost tuning out, but then they're talking about Robbie Williams. HA! EXactly the reaction I got -- looks of shock and horror, "you mean, you DON'T know who robbie WILLIAMS is??? But you're from America!!" (huh? what does that have to do with it ( ... )
