Our planet is undergoing an environmental crisis. That’s a statement that some of you agree with, and some of you disagree with. My intended audience for this article is those who agree, or those who are interested in preventing environmental crisis and preserving our planet’s resources. If I can find a place here at Temple to get this around, would you be for it?

Also, hilarious:

" iii) Drinking water is important! Don't try to conserve water by drinking less of it :)"

heh I figured I should just make sure people aren't gonna go around worrying about drinking too much water.

Yes, please feel free to seek other places to publish this, if you feel inclined to do so. Just remember to keep my name on it and not to change it (though if you have suggestions, I'll gladly take them). I ask those things simply to avoid some of the troubles that wikipedia seems to be having (anyone can edit their articles, so they get people who come on there and mess everything up, etc.. I'm not worried about you doing that, but it could potentially happen if the article got in the hands of someone who has an agenda of undermining environmental protection).

and p.s., I added a small section to the part about conserving water while showering. If you wanna reproduce this, I'd appreciate it if you'd copy and paste this into it :). It goes right after "Also, try to stay in the shower for only as long as it takes you to get clean."

In Japan and other parts of the world, people (when showering) rinse off, turn off the water and soap up, and then turn on the water again and rinse off the soap. Very simple, and it can make a 50 gallon shower into a 5 gallon shower. So, even if you’re not comfortable with showering less often, there are still some other things you can do to conserve water while showering.
