Mice like company, the mouse might be happier if you get 2. I got 2 female mice when I was a lot youger, turns out one was pregnant. Within a year I had 26 mice, then the next door neighbour's cat killed them all while she was minding them while I was on vacation. Thats what she said anyway. Mice are cool.

I get very attached to pets. I really like mice but I made the decision to stick with pets that have a life span of more than a couple of years because its hard when they go.
