I'm so glad to hear that. I really felt that something this daring deserved comment. It was a real risk to put a piece like this out there and I wanted to make sure you knew how impressed I was by what you did with this whole taboo subject. Because if something like this were to happen between Bill & Kara, this is probably what it would be like. Crazy, out of control and totally hot. I've already pimped this story to several BSG fans and a few of them "got" it. I think it's a story that should be read because even if you don't agree with the overall premise, it's beautifully written piece of fanfic and we could all use more of those.

Will you be doing a follow up? I hope you'll at least consider it. I'd love to know how these two deal with each other in the aftermath, especially once they learn Lee is still alive.

Well, to be fair, we were working on this before the dooooooom-a-thon came up, but it was perfect for the nature of the challenge. And I'm glad the story managed to impress you - it's kind of tame, compared to other D/s stories I've read (or even other dooooooom-a-thon entries).

I've already pimped this story to several BSG fans and a few of them "got" it.

Wow! I've only read one other Adama/Kara fic (and it was set right after Zak's death). This is hot ... even though it's just soooooooo wrong. Kara calling him sir all the way through was very effective and I thought you guys did a very good job of getting inside Adama's head.

Okay, um...I read this before. And again, and I'm commenting just now, to tell you guys, very good job, believable, very hot, very crazy. I think this is the only way this pairing could be believable...(although I'd like to see you take on your mention of Zak's death and turn it around so that's the one time they engage in...craziness. On this level. I know you say you'll never do this again, but if you ever reconsider...)

Post-Zak's death smut? I won't say we'd never consider it (because we have written post-death smut in the past and it may even see the light of day), but I'm not sure I can really see it happening for Bill and Kara, who've just met, and just lost someone they both loved.

Maybe. Anything's possible for us, really.

How about in a universe where Bill and Kara haven't just met? Just might be interesting...I can see where it would be highly improbable, but I think one of the hottest parts of this whole thing is the reference to the post-death alcohol-y kiss.
