Title: A Hundred and Six Miles
Author: Drea (

Rating: Borderline R. Because no matter what the MPAA thinks, there’s got to be foul language in this, seeing as Elwood has a fuckin’ problem with watching his fuckin’ language.
Fandom/Pairing: The Blues Brothers. Fairly gen, though sure, you could read certain bits as slash. I do.

Oh, sweetie, you have NO IDEA how much this feedback means to me. I didn't expect anybody, outside of Lizbeth and possibly Bethii. to even read this, let alone like it. And you leave me this terribly sweet response!
I am SO glad you liked it, and that you're a fellow Blues Sister. I also grew up on the Blues Brothers - Dad forced me to watch it at least once a year as a kid, then when BB2000 came out, I willingly went along and fell in total love with the music, then rewatched the first movie and fell head-over-heels for John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd all over again.
NO! DON'T DO THAT! There's so little of a fandom for BB fic around, and I would absolutely hate to deprive us of your possible fic. You'd be awesome at ficcing it, Nan, I have no doubt.
Gah, thank you SO much for the feedback! *squishes you*

In all honesty, I hated BB2000. I can't bear to watch it. Mack and Buster and Cab - all rolled together - can't come close to replacing Jake. But this retelling made it quite a bit better for me. Thank you.
I love how you weave in the history of the boys with the present. I was sad to hear how everyone died. I loved your description of prison life.
I am humbled.

WOW!!! I am fairly new to the Blues Brothers and I have been soking up all the fics that I can get on them. This made me cry a bit. I saw the second movie and this really put it into a new light. Awsome work.
