I love fanmixes, it means a lot of new, great music that is connected to my favorite pairing. This really looks interesting, I'm downloading it now. Also, you win at life for including "If You Were Gay".

That's definitely one of the things that drew me to fanmixing - you get such validation, like "YES, THAT'S SO ______, I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE!".

Thanks so much for commenting!

(House is SO Nicky and Wilson is SO Rod, amiright?)

I have now downloaded it and listened to it about ten times in a row, I think. It's an amazing fanmix. The best sings (beside the one form Avenue Q) are probably "Someone To Fall Back On", "Hey Jelousy" and "Runing Up That Hill". There is just one question I have; Where do you find all this fantastic music?

Yikes! Glad you liked it!

"Hey Jealousy" is just one of those songs that I feel obligated to foist upon everyone I come across, because it's just got that great best-friend dynamic (which I totally apply to all my pairings) and it's such a fun song. "Running Up that Hill" is actually a cover of the Kate Bush original, and I can't stand to listen to the original. It's too happy! Placebo's version is much bluesier and darker.

Where do you find all this fantastic music?

A little bit of everywhere, actually. "Teardrop" and "Some Devil" I first heard on House itself. Songs like "Roadhouse Blues", "Bird on a Wire", and "Glory Days" I grew up listening to because the Doors and Bruce are two of my father's favorite artists, and Cohen has always been one of mine. Placebo, U2 and the Gin Blossoms are some of the bands I fell in love with in high school, and during my college years, I got interested in Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Beck. The first three Wilson tracks I actually found on different fanmixes for other fandoms, fell in love ( ... )

Haha, good to know I've got taste! I absolutely recommend all the songs on this mix - besides being H/W songs, they're all favorites of mine.

No, thank you!

Not too much time, actually. The hardest things for me are the covers - I have NO graphics skill whatsoever, and it's an effort to just cap, add text, and get the exact shades of black-and-white conversion right that I usually never end up posting half the mixes I do. Plus, only having Paint severely limits me in my cover-making.

And ooh, have fun! I have this mix on my mp3 player, and it's my default for the train ride home.

Awesome choice! It's a great song, and by one of my long-time favorite bands, too.
