Merry Christmas, gang. Since Yuletide is completely done - 2031 stories this year! - I'll share one of my procrastination methods with you. To polish my style and keep the tone I was going for, I wrote drabbles any time I was stuck. This is the result. They can be read individually, but honestly, if you want the full effect, read the whole thing.

So far I've only read the Shawn/Hunt bit, but... *happy sigh* I'm only half-awake yet but this was definitely a nice one to wake up to. Once again, the way you write just blows me away. It's beyond beautiful and conveys so much feeling without actually having to call anything between them by name. Just the little things speak volumes and I can't help but love how Shawn tries everything to make sure that Hunt's comfortable during that long flight just by being attentive and keeping his friend's mind off things.

...and I cannot exactly blame Hunt for not telling Steph about the lengths Shawn goes to to do that. ;) What a beautiful and hot picture you drew there.

Thanks so much, Angy! You are fifteen kinds of sweet - and it's night over here, so this is nice to come home to. I adore the little details of their friendship, and I know I wasn't the only one squeeing over all the pics WWE.com was releasing of them in Iraq.

And speaking of the Tribute, did you see the last montage? With the shot of Shawn and Hunt on the plane, giggling like little kids? SO ADORABLE.

Oh yes, we all definitely did a lot of squeeing and gushing over them. Too bad so little of the boys was shown during the special. Maybe they couldn't for family entertainment reasons... ;)

And as you can tell now, yep, I did see that last little montage - and lovedlovedloved it. I swear one of these days the gushing I also tend to do when I see them in person will get me into all kinds of trouble... Actually, I'm surprised it hasn't already, considering how cute they always are with each other.

I noticed that too - for all the constant pics of them together, they weren't featured that much during the show, except for the main event. And pfft, who needs "family entertainment" when DX is around?!

Oh man, just that little shot of Shawn smacking Hunter and Hunter giggling his head off on the plane made me FALL OVER. I was leaning against the banister in my living room, and looked over at the TV to see that, and I kind of just slid off accidentally due to squeeing.

Steph probably has a very big clue. They just DO NOT SPEAK of it.

Of course, hon! I don't know what time it'd be for you, but I'm on every night from around 11pm - 2am Eastern Standard Time. But that's probably a hideous hour for you. If there's a better time for you, let me know!

Read both the Wilson/House one and the Shawn/Hunter drabble. (Seeing as those are the two fandoms I'm into, from these six.) Both were awesome.

I loved Wilson hauling House back everytime, almost like he's unwilling to let go and worried what would happen at the same time. And House being House, sarcastic, slightly idiotic, it's just so, so good.

And awww at Shawn forgetting his beliefs only to make Hunter feel more comfortable. That's what real friendship and love is, being willing to momentarily ignore what you believe in to make someone you love feel better. Very cute. (And hot, mind you. GUH at airplane blowjobs...)

Eeee, love the Jack/Ianto icon! While I'm not shippy regarding Torchwood (I'd prefer Jack/Gwen, but they'd screw it up in canon, and the J/G fangirls terrify me; Jack/Ianto is lovely, but I don't see it working out very well), if I did ship hardcore, Jack/Ianto would probably be it.

And dude, I keep forgetting you like House! Wilson's devotion (however heartbreaking and occasionally misguided) is one of the best parts of the show, IMO. I have a Thing for best friends who fall apart without each other (in case you couldn't tell :P), and you have to love when House shows how much he does need/love Wilson.

Shawn, sweetie. You fool no one, especially when you hang all over your best friend as soon as you leave the States, and forget there are cameras around. While I would never claim the pornier bits of my fiction are true, I can so see Shawn hauling out the video games and iPod to distract Hunter. And well, Shawn says it himself - he's not perfect. He slips up.

I came here through house_wilson and I don't only find H/W but also Sam/Josh! My all-time OTP! And Noël of course, because that ep seriously needed more S/J interaction considering. You've made my Xmas already.

Aw, thank you so much! I'm glad you liked both the House/Wilson and Sam/Josh bits. I adore the Christmas episodes of TWW - and "Noel" is one of the best. I agree, it definitely lacked in Sam/Josh interaction.

It's such a shame Studio 60 didn't live up to Sorkin's potential, because I miss having a Sorkin show on my television.

Better late than never, I suppose... I had to thank Angy for linking me to this little gem, otherwise I would've never seen it since I wasn't around when you posted it. ;)

But I really enjoyed the Hunter/Shawn part. Shawn sitting by the window so Hunter doesn't get scared of being so high up is just too cute. And the thought of Hunter and Shawn destroying anybody--yet alone Cena and Benjamin--at Halo? Both pure awesomeness and laugh-out-loud funny.

And don't even get me started on how hot that all-too-brief slashy snippet was towards the end. Mmmmm. More please.

I do admit, the Halo bit was totally gratuitous on my part. I can't see anyone destroying Cena and Benjamin, the total video game geeks that they are, but if Hunt and Shawn managed it, you can bet everyone on the plane would be hearing about it.

If and when my porn ever gets un-broken, I will definitely be writing the boys. There has been a serious lacking of good porn in wrestlefic recently. I blame it on the lack of ITVR and you and penumbren being AWOL.
