Ok, so I'm a big bastard and when I was younger I once stole someone's 3 foot pink flamingo and held it captive delivering ransom notes daily. Yes, I know a flamingo is no comparison to a gnome, but it was once a funny story......

On a positive note, at least your garden gnome has a livejournal now which can't be a bad thing. On the negative side, I can't believe the gnome nappers got your gnome smoking like that. If you need some assistance when he gets home, I have some extra nicotine patches I can give the gnome to help with the cravings. It's one thing to steal a gnome, it's another to get him hooked on cancer sticks! The Bastards!
