"For her, I'd do just about anything.
She makes me wanna dust off my suit of armor,
hop atop my rusty-trusty steed and fight dragons for her favor.
If she'd ever see me as a realboy, I'd be hernight in moon shine armor,
Instead of a bitter butter knife for hire," Pinocchio explains(exclaims,)
clambering atop his noble ass(steed.)

"I'd sweep her off her feet (keep her on her toes,) all broom-like,
and we'd coconut(gallop) into the moonrise(sunset.)
If only she'd see past my strings

It's not like I said
"Geppetto, you know what I'd heart(love) more than anything?
Some strings to guide(control) my every move," yanno?"
His helmet(ball cap)'s visor slips over his eyes as he does his damnedest
(best) to catch a glimpse of her on her balcony(coffee break from hell,)
just one more time.

"But," his sigh falls short of heavy,
"she's made it glass(clear) she wants a prince(royal pain,)
not some chivalrous romance(all I have to give.)
And, I figure(lie lie LIE,)
who th' fuck am I to stand in the way of a royal decree(familial obligation?)
Even if I know I would queen her(treat her better)
than he knows how(even cares to do.)
No princess wants a knight with shadows like mine.

So I'll conifer(pine)
from afar(down the street)
wishing well dreams on my tulips
that she'll follow my lantern(see the light)
and find her Waldo(misguided Prince Disarming)
in me."

He coconuts into the moonrise,
pouring all his lies(promises)
In his emotional saddle bags.
he never seizes(sees) the heartliest(loveliest)
deuce of eyes mooning(watching) him from the balcony.

"If only once he'd ever spoken,
parted tulips to slay omission lies,
his nighthood would be for more than naught,
A home in my castleheart be his for the claiming,"
She murmurs(shouts,) drops drapery,
condemned by inaction to a waltz(life)
she would not follow(lead.)
