Is this unreasonable?

So, Peanut was born on September 11th. I can't fault the kid the birthday, because it's not as if they planned it and well, it's my birthday, too ( Read more... )

WOW! That is a lot going on for a little baby. If it isn't changed, think of the stories she can tell when she is older. I would hope that you would educate her in everything that is happening with her name and dates, cause I am pretty sure she won't learn it in school. Sadly half of teens today don't know when 9/11 happened and that is recent and happened when they were alive!

You're definitely not being unreasonable here. Poor Peanut. :( I'm not sure the role that Christening plays in your family traditions, but for mine, we never remembered our Baptism dates, we never had to, lol. So, I would say, the Dec 7 would not come up in Peanut's life as a personal one other than the historical context of Pearl Harbor. But that's just me.

Hi

are "KGB" are initals with all her names? like 1st firstname and 2nd firstname and then surname? Or that she have a compouned first name?
You know what I mean? For examples my initals would be CM. If I used my 2nd firstname - which I never do, it would be CYM. So if it's just "KB" it's ok.

As for Sept 11th, yeah nothing to do about it. I'm no sure it's a bad omen. After all you're born on Sept 1th, and you're a good omen, imo.

And I do'nt think Christenign day matters, I don't even know mine. I see teh historical importance, but I doesn't have any religious one. I she were to be baptised on Ash Friday or sth like that, yeah it would be weird, but Dec 7th is pretty safe Christian-wise.

:)
