I was thinking fondly of all the meals I used to cook at The Secret House: Mozzarella and tomato salad, corn and bean stew, asparagus with balsamic vinaigrette, Greek pasta salad, banana bread, forest chocolate cake, vegetable stew, basil and lemon risotto...today's vegetarian option at the cafeteria? Potatoes mashed with Velveeta.

That school of yours had better be quite spiffy, to make up for it's lack of decent food.

(p.s. This is Dan D, with whom you once spoke to now and again on IRC, a very long time ago... Hello!)

Dan, how good to hear from you again.
My school has the redeeming quality of being in a castle.

...

With this new knowledge, I can safely say that they could get away with not feeding you at all.

A castle... Might you be so kind as to direct me towards some pictures of this said castle? 'Cause I like castles.

You are in the midwest. Such ideas are foreign considering how many people make their living in the beef/cheese business. Though it is slightly ironic since most of the soybeans in the US are grown in the Midwest as well. Especially in Minn.

Time to became an activist and promote a wider menu.
