Last week I manned up and did something I had been telling myself to do for over a month: I got a haircut. Over the summer my dorm here at Framingham State College was renovated. They installed some nice new bathrooms with these high tech infrared sensor auto-flushing toilets. I was walking around campus today and one of those frantic squirrels ran right in front of me. I could have stomped on it. Those things are so accustomed to people that they have no fear of them. I also noticed something else. This squirrel was HUGE. It was SO FAT. I didn't get a picture of it, but it looked something like this.

Summer has left my writing and observations on hold as I've been busy with work and vacationing and a little bit of traveling. Work has been good. Long hours, a lot of sweat, but good. A week ago I packed up and left Auburn. I packed my car with all of my possessions, and went to Atlanta on Thursday night for a Radiohead show which was incredible. Then, after the show, around 12am Friday morning I left Atlanta and drove non-stop to Westford, Mass.

For my graduation present last year my grandfather gave me his old 2001 Lincoln Town Car. It had 102,000 miles on it, and had been his 50th Anniversary present to my late grandmother. I've been using it all year, and have enjoyed it immensely. It has something like 107,000 miles on it now.
