Not exactly my idea of optimization

So here's the deal: I have 512 Mb RAM. Not much by today standards, especially when using Windows XP, but I'm getting by. Then I see this program for memory optimization, MemTurbo, and decide, "Hey, this is exactly what I need." I install it and it looks neat, sitting in my system tray, telling me how much free RAM I got left and optimizing ( Read more... )

Adding more memory would be a little problematic at this point, as I have two memory slots with a 128 Mb module in each. I prefer to wait until complete upgrade becomes a necessity, and do everything at once.
