Indeed I am. Sometimes I forget just how cutthroat the competitive world of child musicians can be.

Having neither had nor taught children, I can't say I know the feeling, but I can sympathize at least. Maybe you could put your name in the newspaper instead? People sometimes are more receptive to this sort of thing if they're the ones actively seeking you out instead of the other way around.
