 I'm trying to find plane tickets for a neat little get away in July and the ticket prices are so random.  If I want to be at the airport at 6 am on a Sat.. it's $107.  If I want to be at the airport on Sunday at 6 am? $229.

Sunday is always a peak travel day, along with Friday. Since fewer people travel in the middle of their weekend, Saturdays are almost always the cheapest weekend day for flying.

Check Kayak.com and say you are flexible. Once you find a good price, go to that airlines website and book there.
