And I have to say, I still prefer I, II, and III. Don't get me wrong, the game is top-notch and it's the first RPG to really get me interested for about 2 years, but it's definitely on a lower level than the first 3 ( Read more... )

My only guess as to why Lyon suddenly croaked is that the Dawn Rune's protection wore off when they incapacitated the Sun RIncar. I never saw the bad ending, so part wants to see this scene with the prince walking out with both runes. Anyway, as for your problems on the whole, I pretty much agree with all of them.

The one thing they left unresolved that I liked was the thing with the leaders of the old Nether Gate. It seems like it holds some promise for a future installment.

Both Nagarea and New Armes seem pretty interesting to me. Certainly beats the hell out of the void that is the Dukedom of Gaien.

I am hoping it turns out that Gaien is an economically wealthy, militarily powerful, and culturally rich nation that is host to all sorts of unfound badassery.

There's got to be a reason it's still hanging around. There's got to be.
