I. Fandom and meta:

1) How I FEEEEEEEEEL about this pairing: Spyro/Elora was probably my second-ever OTP (first-ever was Sonic/Sally from SatAM), so I still have an extra soft spot for it. I love the differences in their personalities; Spyro’s hot-headed and impulsive, while Elora’s more down-to-earth and reasonable, which I’m always a huge sucker for. Besides that, I just think they look adorable together. Interspecies romance? Check! Size difference? Check!
2) What made me ship it in the first place: I first saw my big sister (who is entirely to blame for the fact that I am a gamer) beat Ripto’s Rage and saw Elora give Spyro a thank-you kiss, my seven-year-old brain went, “Oh, she kissed him! I guess that means they’re together now!” Aaaaaand a lifelong OTP was born. So, yeah...I shipped things before I even knew what shipping was. XP
3) The best fic I've ever read for them: This would be easier to pick if there weren’t so little fanfic of them. TT^TT I’ve always liked It’s Enough by HollyBerry29, which you can read here: ... )

II. Little details:

1) Who is the big spoon/little spoon: At first Elora’s the big spoon and Spyro’s the little spoon, because of their size difference and because Spyro seems to have less romantic experience and confidence than Elora. As time goes on and Spyro gets bolder and bigger, though, he becomes the big spoon and Elora becomes the little one. In both cases, she doesn’t really mind.
2) Their favorite non-sexual activity: Having picnics in Autumn Plains, Summer Forest, the Artisans World and the Dream Weavers World. Sounds sort of boring, but it beats tagging along with Spyro and Hunter to one of the speedways and helping the Professor with his portal technolgy. Honestly, I imagine that they’d take any chance they could get to catch up, since they probably don’t get to see each other often.
3) Who uses all the hot water: Elora, by default of actually living indoors from time to time, as opposed to Spyro, who prefers to sleep in the grass and under the stars.

Sorry this took so long. ^^;

I. Fandom and meta:

1) How I FEEEEEEEEEL about this pairing: I know this is the most popular slash pairing in the Sonic fandom, which means that a lot of shit gets produced for them, and that you have to wade through it to get to anything good. I know this ship gets a lot of flack because it has so many fanbrats. Even with that in mind, I still love the two of them together. There’s definite differences between them, but so many similarities as well, it makes their chemistry so fascinating to me. There’s the superspeed thing, of course, and they both seem to have a drive to do the right thing (though it did take a while for Shadow to realize his) and the fact that they’re both so independent and headstrong. The fact that they were enemies before and rivals now adds a layer of “Foe Yay” to them, which I kind of have a soft spot for, as you’ll read later on.
2) What made me ship it in the first place: ...Other peoples' fan contributions to the ship. I guess that makes me a sheep, but this was actually the

II. Little details:

1) Who is the big spoon/little spoon: It switches based on varying circumstances. I think that goes for every other aspect of their relationship, too. Also, it probably goes without saying, but in case it doesn’t...when it comes to spooning, they both have to be mindful. Neither of them wants to get their eyes poked out by the others’s quills.
2) Their favorite non-sexual activity: I’d say racing, sparring, or anything else that’s the least bit competetive, since they’ve both got that streak, buuut in my headcanon, those things often lead to sex, so they can’t really be counted. XP I think it’s the quiet moments they both look forward to; sharing meals together, seeing the world, just curling up together to watch movies...little things like that.
3) Who uses all the hot water: Shadow. Sonic takes showers that last three to four minutes at most, leaving Shadow to appreciate a long soak.
4) What they order from takeout: Depends on wherever they are at the time.
