I guess hard work never gets anywhere. You seem as frustrated as I am. I know plenty of people who have lied and cheated to get their position in life. Yet the ones who deserve a chance the most get hurt in the end. But I guess, you have to try and look at the bright side of things. Find happiness where you can.

I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have. -Thomas Jefferson"

I pick a goal, I work towards it, I most often get it. But... I make sure to pick goals that are realistic, don't involve me compromising myself or my principals, don't involve other people compromising themselves or their principals, and have a lot of patience.

Whenever I hear someone deliver the "oh fuck it, nice guys finish last, I'm gonna be an asshole" ultimatum... it more often than not seems to be frustration due to impatience and unrealistic goals.

Either way, sorry you didn't get one of the things you apparently wanted.

I talked to you today and you didn't mention this! What's going on?

I have a slight idea what you're talking about, but please call me when you see this. You know you can always call me and commiserate.

As for advice, I can honestly tell you the same thing Jon said: People do get theirs in the end. When people are dickheads to others, eventually it comes back to haunt them. And they have to live with it for the rest of their lives. It's called karma, which I know that you know about.

Call me dude.
