[Being called miss doesn't really register. Just examining the screen--not out of lack of recognition, but just surprise. It's obvious this is for communication, but it's advanced looking. Up close he really is incredibly pale.]

[Another voice. He gets to his feet, carefully this time, and makes his way in the direction... A glint of light alerts him to the position of the PCD and he picks it up, face pale and breath labored as he considers it with wide-eyed confusion.]

...Yes. I'm fine. [What a strange piece of technology, like something from the Dawn Age. It actually makes him look around again, just to make sure he's really being talked to on this thing.]
