Our friend just got back from Peru and it sounds like it was an incredible trip. So that's my vote!

do you know where in peru? (coastal, mountains, both?) peru has been on my list of interest for years, so it's already heavily in the running.

I know he went to Machu Pichu and Cuzco and did some mountain climbing. I'm going to hear more about his trip soon, he brought something back for us so we need to hang out and see what it is, haha. But his photos were amazing, and it makes me want to go.
