mexico!

we just got back from mexico (same place as last year) a few days ago and we're settling in. i'm thankful we escaped a few snowstorms, but it's nice to be in the cooler weather again. we definitely enjoyed the beach & seeing friends while we were down.

thank you thank you! you would get a kick out of him. he talks a lot now and it's rather hilarious/cute/intriguing.

oh! and: i thought of you as i finished my first ever sewn article of clothing. a skirt. nothing as challenging as your dress. it's not quite the weather for it but i shall hopefully wear it a lot once spring properly hits.

well, it took me FOREVER to get this skirt made, and i still want to put a pocket on it, but i'm thinking of making some shorts for nathaniel next. we shall see. knitting still takes the bulk of my crafting attention, and that is something that i just do a little at a time.
