Wow. I flat-out cannot handle people like that. He totally sounds like a younger version of Lloyd, who is probably on my top 10 list of people who annoy me the most. I have to give you credit for not just booting the guy out. It sounds like he needs a reality check, fast. Someone to tell him in very clear terms that he's irresponsible, inconsiderate, smells terrible, and is a total disgusting slob. Lloyd had all of those issues. And he always had an excuse as to why he couldn't pay Manny and at the end of the year-long lease, Lloyd still owed most of the year's rent and bills to Manny

nah i totally hear ya and know where you're coming from. My patience is already wearing quite thin and he will be hearing about it if things do not change very soon. I've heard about Lloyd from you guys before and I really hope this guy doesn't turn out to be at his level of slackery. I KNOW he gets paid today so I'm going to hound him as soon as I see him. Enough is enough and I wanna get him to realize I'm not waiting around till the amount he owes me gets in the hundreds. Though it's technically already $100 since this month's utilities are due. But I'll end up owing him like $20 or $30 for water so I just take that out of what he owes me.

man oh man, if anyone knows about shitty roommate situations it is i! this sounds like a sucky one and i'm sorry you have to deal with it. get your money, hide your stuff, and don't put up with any bullshit is the best advice i can offer. you don't have to be mean but you defintely have to be assertive, i've learned that from personal experience. it's hard but things only get worse if you don't nip it in the bud.
