Its been a tough day today, as a very good friend of mine, John Guibord, passed away last night due to unknown causes. I doubt there was a kinder, more big hearted person out there than he was.

Somehow from this picture he looks like he'd have a wicked sense of humor. So, maybe it is a good tribute picture!

Oh Bill, I'm so very sorry! I think candid pictures are the best kinds to be used as a tribute, because it shows the person's true self. He looks like he was a super fun guy to be around. Thanks for sharing this picture with us, and if you need to talk about it or anything, I'm here!

This is actually a good pic of "Big John!" It kind of gives some insight to the kind of guy he really was. He loved life, very much, and gave many people that shot in the arm that was much needed. I was very sad, that I missed his memorial service, then having just heard that he was gone. My dad (who died at the end of April) had seen him, while getting a perscription. Johnny asked him how I was doing. That is the kind of guy he was. Caring. I wish we had not moved apart, when my shop closed, back in 2000. I last saw him sometime in 03' or 04', at Neutral Ground. I miss him, very much.
