I can understand why your friends/family would be skeptical; I would be too if it were one of my friends. You can always show them my Facebook to reassure them that I exist. It'd be difficult to steal all those pictures and maintain 300-odd friends and family members if I wasn't really that person. :)

Haha, good to hear you're not an odd old man sitting at a computer! And yeah, I get why they're skeptical, it's just a little annoying - like they're questioning my ability to figure stuff out on my own. It's very...belittling isn't the word, but something like it. But I will fly in the face of their caution and just visit everyone! I think it's the double standard that annoys me. Someone you've met once at a pub/club/coffee shop/gig is totally ok to meet up with and hang out with, but someone you've been talking to for years online is too dodgy. It's odd.

I would love to come to Nashville! If this ever happen, then a couple of friends and I were thinking about roadtripping some of the southern states. Maybe you could show us around Nashville?! And if I do end up there on my own, I will definitely take you up on the offer of an awesome couch! Thanks!
