Week one..!

This has been a great week. I know people talk about the 'honeymoon period' but I've never experienced it until now. I know I'm in danger of sounding like a loved up sap, so I won't gush too much, but I do really like him and I just want to be with him all the time. Which isn't so great when you think about the fact that I'm leaving in a week. Oh

Coming from someone whose been in many relationships.... YES, I know exactly what you mean in regards to the honeymoon period. It's definitely one of the happiest times in life. :-) And I'd like to encourage you to stay strong in your long distance relationship. I kept one going for a year and a half. It's tough, but those times are all about keeping the communication strong. As long as you keep talking every day, you'll be just fine. :-) Another thing is, when the initial flames begin to simmer and you two enter into the monotony of daily life (which happens to all couples at some point), make a habit to do random little romantic things for each other to keep the spark alive. With long distance, you'll have to get creative, but even things like a hand written love letter or an unexpected gift in the mail. ...well ok, I'll stop there! Good luck with everything! :-)
